About 8 weeks from first contact to finished install: across 919 install jobs from June 2025 to November 2026, the median was 60 days from booking to finish, and half of all jobs took between 42 and 75 days. Building your windows takes 2 to 3 weeks, the rest is lining up the schedule, and the install itself takes 1 to 2 days at your home.
The steps, start to finish
- Quote. Send photos and sizes for a virtual quote, or book a free estimate at your home.
- Measure. We confirm every size on site before we build, so each window fits its opening.
- Build. Our vinyl windows and sliding glass doors are made in house for the Arizona heat, to your exact sizes and glass choice. This takes 2 to 3 weeks.
- Install. Our own crew removes the old windows and installs the new ones. Installs take 1 to 2 days, and a cutback install takes 2.
- Warranty. Every install carries our lifetime warranty on product and installation, transferable to the second owner.
What the 60 days look like
| Share of jobs | Days from booking to finished install |
|---|---|
| Fastest quarter of jobs | 42 days or less |
| Median job | 60 days |
| Slowest quarter of jobs | 75 days or more |
Jobs with special shapes, large multi-slide doors, or many openings tend to take longer, because there is more to build.
Why it takes about 8 weeks
Many, many installers in this area hire subcontractors. We do not. Our own crews do every job, across 15 crews. You get the people who stand behind the work, and that is part of why it takes longer: your install waits for one of our crews, not whoever is free.
Plan around the heat
Spring is our busiest season: in the second quarter of 2026 we finished 175 install jobs, the most of any quarter (see the price index). Fall and winter are quieter.
- Want new windows before summer? Book in January or February. At about 8 weeks, that lands your install before the first 100°F days.
- Replacing in the fall? Expect a shorter wait, since it is our quietest season.
In 2024 Phoenix ran 113 days in a row at 100°F or hotter (National Weather Service). Windows with our LoE³-340+ glass let in about 14% of the sun's heat; see what dual-pane low-E glass does at 115°F.
